What’s it about?

I have been teaching these skills directly to students in schools and through one to one coaching, as well as helping adults with their professional exams, for 15 years and there has never been a more important time for me to pass these skills onto parents.

I have helped students to receive a grade higher than their predicted grade and have helped professionals reach a distinction when they were feeling overwhelm and stress. These include teachers, solicitors and accountants as well as students.

I wish I had known these skills when my son was taking his exams. I know how stressful it can be for both parents and students but especially now, during these very challenging times for those about to take their GCSE’s next year.

As parents we often ponder how we can help our children through their anxieties without seeming to nag and this can leave us feeling helpless and guilty.

However by using coaching skills as well as giving sound advice about how to plan, learn and revise in creative ways, we can empower our children to take action and inspire them to enjoy the process.

I will be joined by a well-being practitioner Rachel Turner.

Whatever the stage and level of education, you can teach your children powerful techniques and strategies to accelerate their learning, help them to catch up on the months lost and increase confidence, motivation and memory skills to aid their success in the classroom and exams.

These are some of the things you will be able to teach your children immediately after the session and onwards.

Step by step natural process for coaching your teen.

How to reduce anxiety with breathing techniques and EFT (tapping)

Learning how to learn

Increase your teen’s focus and motivation

Teach powerful learning techniques to retain information

Planning the year ahead with goal setting and self management tools that are fun including using a coaching model to empower your child, rather than pushing (them away!).

It is imperative that the process starts now and not just weeks before their exams when its all too late. Those months can never be brought back by cramming
